President & Chief Executive Officer

Wale was a consultant to Microsoft, Marsh & McLennan, Citicorp and Pitney Bowes, Barclays Capital, UBS and Merill Lynch. Graduated with BSc in Computer Science with Accounting from Ogun State University, Nigeria. He then attended University of Leeds, United Kingdom and graduated with MSc in Distributed Multimedia Systems. Since 2007, has been President of Mak Mera Nigeria Ltd, the second generation oil and gas services firm where he has been responsible for strategic direction.

Evert Jan Sibinga Mulder

Chief Operating Officer

Evert Jan Sibinga Mulder joined the Company as President and Chief Operating Officer effective January 1, 2014. He will be based in The Netherlands, the Company’smanagement hub. His responsibility is to oversee MMU’s subsurface planning, engineering and operations. Theimmediate focus is the production of the Company’s KE fieldprior to building a pipeline of assets and opportunities.

Evert Jan served as Chief Operating Officer at Addax Petroleum and during his tenure until 2006 the Addax’s production grew from some 25,000 to 75,000 bopd while reserves were maintained. He coordinated the planning and successful implementation of Okwori, Addax’s first offshore green field development in Nigeria. He then served as Chief Operating Officer at Afren Plc where he helped Afren towards its first oil from a major offshore project in Nigeria. He started his career with Royal Dutch Shell and held various technical, commercial and management positions in Brunei, Nigeria and the UK. Further, he worked with Halliburton Energy Services, and with Weatherford International in Houston as Vice President. Evert Jan has extensive experience in strategy and business development, project economics, managing multi-discipline teams andmanagement of the development of oil and gas fields.

Recently, he successfully closed and sold an explorationasset in North Africa. He and his team identified and studieda major prospect and developed into a commercial projectduring 2010-2013 through his own E&P venture,a JV with Argos in Rotterdam. In 2012, Sibinga Mulder founded Renatus, (www.renatus-energy.com) a small E&P company in the US. A first successful oil well was drilled and completed late in 2013.

Evertjan is a 1982 MSc Mining & Petroleum Engineering graduate from the Technical University of Delft, The Netherlands. In 2002 he completed the Executive Program at the Tuck Business School of Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, USA. Evert Jan is an Associate of BoerCroon interim executive management in Amsterdam.

Govert Eijsvoogel

Finance

Govert has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, structured finance and private equity in international and emerging markets, mainly with ABN AMRO Bank. In addition to financial structuring and execution, he worked closely with CEOs, CFOs and Treasurers on (financial) strategy representing (consortia of) investors.

Since 2010 involved in natural resources in Central Asia, Africa and the US. He played an important role in the structuring, closing and subsequent sale of an oil exploration asset in North Africa. He is also co-founder and head of finance of Renatus Energy, a small E&P company in the United States which drilled its first oil well successfully in 2013. Govert holds a MSc Finance and Economics from the University of Amsterdam.

Bram Sieders

Principal Reservoir Engineer at PanTerra Geoconsultants

Bram Sieders, a seasoned Reservoir / Petroleum Engineer with 30+ years of experience in oil & gas reservoir engineering, field development and petroleum engineering with Shell in Oman, Malaysia, the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Nigeria in particular, will lead the PanTerra team on the Company’s projects. He is an established expert in integrated subsurface studies, field development planning, reserves auditing, due diligence and value assurance reviews. Bram brings Nigerian experience where he performed various roles at Shell Nigeria, including as Corporate Chief Reservoir Engineer where he was responsible for developing technical processes, quality control of all reservoir engineering studies, staff development, hydrocarbon resource maturation and accounting for all Shell fields producing ~1 million bopd. He was also Head of Integrated Studies team where he established the team and co-ordinated alll subsurface studies for SPDC. In his current position with PanTerra Bram has supervised various studies for indigenous Nigerian companies and executed reserves audits for Nigerian banks.

Dick Swart

Drilling Manager

Dick Swart, who has a longstanding international career with drilling contractors (SEDCO, Neddrill, Reading & Bates and Deutag) and oil companies (NAM, Addax and Northern Petroleum) will manage the drilling operations at MakMera.

He spent 3 years as Sedco General Manager in Nigeria (1981-1984) and 1 year in Nigeria as Addax Petroleum Drilling Manager (2003-2004). He founded Dick Swart Consultancy in 1992 and PGMi in year 2000. In 2010 he received from the Royal institute of Engineers the Colonel Drake Award and in 2012 he received the Society of Petroleum Engineers, North Sea Regional Drilling Engineering Award.

International Board

Afolabi Oladele - Director

He is responsible for leading ACA's investments in the oil & gas sector. Afolabi has worked with many of ACA's portfolio companies in various value-adding roles, including serving on boards and providing the interface with the oil & gas industry. Prior to joining ACA, Afolabi had 20 years of experience in the oil & gas industry. He was part of the senior management team for Addax, one of the most successful independent oil companies to have grown out of Africa. Most of his career was with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation ("NNPC") where he served in various capacities culminating in his appointment as Group Executive Director for the downstream operations in 1995. While employed with NNPC, he was seconded at different times to OPEC, Mobil USA and Total France. He currently serves as a director on the board of various companies including Deltatek/Delta Afrik, Addax and Oryx Group. Afolabi, a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, holds a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering and post-graduate certificates in petroleum economics and management.

Sir Dr. Godwin Omene- Chairman and Director

Sir Omene was the first Nigerian Country Manager for Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC). He rose to become the Deputy Managing Director where he acted as the Chief Executive Officer of SPDC. Upon retirement from SPDC, he was appointed the CEO/Managing Director of the Niger Development Commission (NDDC), the government agency set up to administer the Niger-Delta towards peaceful relationship with the oil producing communities. He holds First Class Honours B.Sc. degree in Mining Engineering and Distinction in Post Graduate Diploma in Petroleum Reservoir Engineering from Imperial College, London. He is a native of Sapele, Delta State, in the Niger-Delta.

Prince Adenle- Executive Chairman and Director

Prince Adenle, until recently (between 1978 and 2012), was Deputy Director at the Department of Petroleum Resources, Ministry of Petroleum Resources in Nigeria, responsible for Basinal Assessment, Lease Administration, States Production Attribution, Nigerian Local Content, Expatriate Quota and Servicom. Prior to then, he had worked as Petroleum Engineer at Chevron, Japan Oil and several others. He graduated from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 1977 with B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering and holds several Professional Certifications in various aspects of Petroleum Operation.

Chief Michael Andrew Olorunfemi - Director & Executive Chairman of MakMera Group

The Chief received Master of Science in Economics from London School of Economics in 1970. Prior to founding Mak Mera in 1995, he worked with Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) as a financial analyst from 1973 to 1977 returning as Director of Research from 1989 to 1993, in which role he advised OPEC Oil Ministers on oil and gas production quotas and pricing. From 1977 through 1988, while acting as a Nigeria representative to OPEC, the Chief also served as an executive in Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) including as Deputy Group Managing Director, Upstream and as Chairman of NNPC's engineering subsidiary. He also served as Group Executive Director of National Petroleum Investment Management Services (NAPIMS) supervising Nigeria’s investments in joint venture partnerships with the international oil companies in Nigeria.
